The city is full of learning opportunities! More open space means more freedom for students and teachers to be creative.

With this project, Vilnius aims to bring modernity to the education system by moving at least 10% of lessons from the school building to urban spaces and encouraging schools to make creative use of a wide range of spaces in Vilnius, and to increasingly combine traditional classroom-based lessons with urban lessons.

„Vilnius is a School" project offers a slightly different perspective: it demonstrates how a technology-enabled platform can transform the educational process, still enabling it through human interaction and physical spaces but making it more open, inclusive, and engaging.

It offers unique curriculum-related lessons and provides teachers with new ideas and resources on how to use urban spaces in the learning process, and how to get easy access to lessons offered by institutions and companies that are best suited to meet students' practical needs in the highly evolving 21st century.
